This property, located on the outskirts of Bewdley, was a large traditional 1970s construction that lacked character and was in need of a complete transformation. The homeowners sought a facelift that would enhance its appearance using high-quality, durable materials while adding unique features to elevate its aesthetic appeal.
To begin the renovation, we removed the dated hanging tiles and old cladding that were characteristic of the original build but had become outdated and uninspiring. In their place, we installed a render carrier board, providing a stable and durable base for the next phase of the project.
We then applied a top-tier silicone render system, chosen for its weather resistance, breathability, and sleek, modern finish. To add visual interest and a touch of tradition, we incorporated handmade brick slips, pointed with lime mortar. This detail not only added texture and depth to the façade but also introduced a timeless charm that perfectly complemented the overall design.
The result is a stunning transformation. The house has been completely revitalised, with a contemporary yet classic look that blends modern materials with traditional craftsmanship. This project showcases how thoughtful design and the use of premium materials can turn an uninspiring property into a visually striking and character-filled home.
