External Wall Insulation & Rockpanel Cladding, Ombersley, Worcestershire

Back to our work

This 1950s equestrian building, located near Ombersley in Worcestershire, was in need of significant renovation. Its outdated architecture not only lacked visual appeal but was also highly inefficient in terms of heat retention. The owners approached us for a consultation to explore modernisation options that would transform the building while ensuring the use of high-quality, Class A1 fire-resistant materials and achieving a long-term, maintenance-free finish.

Following our consultation, we devised a comprehensive plan to rejuvenate the structure. The focus was on combining functionality with aesthetics, ensuring the building would not only look modern but also perform efficiently for years to come.

To achieve this, we installed a high-quality external wall insulation system, enhancing the building’s thermal performance and significantly reducing heat loss. This system was paired with a sleek render finish on half of the walls, providing a clean, contemporary appearance. For the remaining walls, we utilised Rockpanel cladding, chosen for its durability, fire resistance, and striking modern aesthetic.

The result is truly remarkable. The building has been completely transformed, blending modern design with practical improvements that meet today’s standards of efficiency and safety. This project demonstrates how the careful selection of materials and a thoughtful approach to design can breathe new life into even the most tired structures, creating a space that is visually stunning, efficient, and built to last.
